I was ready to move on, not place but career, try something new, but I didn’t know what
So I stayed, oh I moved around, tried different places but the same career
It still didn’t satisfy me.
After the initial excitement of the move, different place, different people, I settled back into the groove
All became ordinary again and still I wanted to try something new, but I didn’t know what, so I stayed
This became the habit, stay for a few years, get tired of it, move and do it all over again
Simply because I didn’t know what else to do.
And then I did!
Took me years but it doesn’t have to be the same for you.
I know I’m not alone, I spoke to a friend recently, Sammy, been in the same game over twenty years
He wants to try something new, done with the old thing but he doesn’t know what, so he’d stay
But he won’t because I’ve shown him what I found, now he can move without the risk
Now he can move without putting his life in jeopardy
Now he can move knowing that he can earn as much and more than before, do things differently
Challenge himself, find a new excitement, new motivation and new momentum
Now he can wake up without the effort of knowing it’s just another day of the same old
He can try something new and he will.
If him then why not you.
Geoff was the same. We were having a chat over coffee
“Bill” he said, “I don’t want to do my job anymore, fed up with it but I don’t know what to do.
I’ve got responsibilities, a family, a mortgage, car loan, school fees I’m trapped, I can’t leave.”
“But Geoff” I said, “You can, let me show you how.”
And I did. He’s on his way, transitioning out of the old and into the new.
Not cold turkey, not just jump ship, but at his pace guided by me.
That’s what I wanted way back when and that’s what I offered him.
It takes courage to change and it’s certainly not for the faint hearted.
But I wanted it, really wanted it, had done for years, Geoff did, so did Maria and Christine, now Sammy.
How long will you suffer what you must suffer if you don’t make a change
How long has it been already and how long will it go on for?
I wish I’d known earlier but that’s hindsight, it doesn’t have to be for you
Explore the option, look at what Geoff has done, at what Sammy is about to do
Don’t stay if you are ready to go, look at our exit strategy
Best decision we ever made. Could be for you too.
I’m taking just a few people on this ride at the moment, Sammy is one if them
spaces are limited
There’s one for you, just drop your details below and I’ll be in touch.
Leave it too late and the spots will be filled by those determined to change.
Just go for it, no commitment, no promises, no risk and if it’s not for you
No problem, at least give it a look, you owe yourself that.
Make the change – Be Extraordinary.
