Want To Be Different — Find Your ‘Passion’

“I wasn’t looking to be different in practice, I was looking for something that really fascinated me. That was and is my difference, it is my WHY.”

I’m not really a Maverick or a Rebel, I am just completely interested in the direction I have chosen for my career.

What I love about my work is that there is something there for everyone. You just have to choose your interest, let it grow, become fascinated with it. This fascination feeds enthusiasm,  enthusiasm builds momentum —and momentum drives your business.

You see, when you’re fascinated by something you can’t help but talk about it. People want to hear you talk, they want to understand and they want to know that you understand them. You can’t be all things to all people, in the same way you can’t be totally enthusiastic about every aspect of your work. Well, I can’t anyway.

If you are passionate about something, it can become all consuming, totally interesting and exhilarating. The derived enthusiasm comes across as caring to the client. They see that you are totally invested in the process — and in them. In their mind, it is this, that ensures that you can and will do your best for them. They get that, we all get that. We want someone who’s going to work with and on us to be passionate!

Fascination builds your business — just as boredom and lack lustre kill it. If you don’t like doing something it shows, so don’t do it. It’s not worth it. You can make an extraordinary living doing what you love. Don’t waste your time on anything else.

If you know Who, How, What and Why you are in business, then the clarity you derive will allow you to make decisions that will enhance your life and the clients experience!
